About our blankets

What is a throw blanket?

A throw blanket is a smaller, decorative blanket for the couch, a chair or the foot of a bed. Our standard throw size is 50″ × 60″. Read more in What Is a Throw Blanket?

What are your blankets made of?

100% polyester. The front is a soft printed polyester, the back is long-pile sherpa fleece. The fabric weighs 12.8 oz/yd² (435 g/m²), and every blanket has rounded corners and decorative stitching.

Is the design printed on both sides?

No. The design is printed on the soft front. The back is plain sherpa fleece.

Sizes

Which sizes do you offer?

50″ × 60″ (our standard throw) and 60″ × 80″ (a large throw). A 30″ × 40″ size is available for baby blankets, the Dino Play design and the single-photo blanket. Not every size is available for every design, so check the size options on the product page. See all sizes.

How big is a 50x60 blanket?

It measures 50 inches by 60 inches. That is a throw size: enough to cover your lap and legs on the couch. See the 50x60 blankets.

What is a large throw blanket?

Our 60″ × 80″ blanket is the larger option, with room to stretch out on the couch. See the 60x80 blankets.

Personalizing

Can I personalize a blanket?

Yes. Add a name, a name with a date, a monogram or your own photo. See our custom and personalized blankets, including baby blankets and photo blankets.

Shipping

Where do you ship?

We currently ship within the United States.

How much is shipping?

Shipping is calculated at checkout, based on where you live and the size and weight of the blankets in your cart. Orders of $100 or more ship free. See our Shipping policy.

How long does delivery take?

Every blanket is made to order. Production takes 2 to 5 business days, and transit takes 3 to 7 business days. These are estimates, and busy periods such as November and December can take longer. Personalized blankets follow the same schedule.

Will I get a tracking number?

Yes. We email you a tracking number as soon as your order ships. If you order more than one blanket, they may be produced and shipped separately and arrive on different days. You only pay shipping once.

Returns and refunds

What if my blanket arrives damaged or not as ordered?

Email contact@thefavoritespot.com within 30 days of delivery with your order number and clear photos of the blanket and the packaging. We send a free replacement or refund the full purchase price including shipping, whichever you prefer. You do not need to return the item.

Can I return a blanket if I change my mind?

No. Every blanket is printed especially for you, so we cannot accept returns or exchanges for a change of mind, a different color preference or an incorrect size choice. Please check the size guide on the product page before you order.

Can I return a personalized blanket?

Only if it is damaged or defective. A blanket with a name, date, monogram or photo is made to your specifications.

Can I change or cancel my order?

Only if it has not yet gone into production. Email us as soon as possible, ideally within 24 hours of placing your order, with your order number.

Is a small size difference a defect?

No. Each blanket is printed and sewn individually, so a size variation of up to 3 inches (about 7.5 cm) and slight color differences between your screen and the printed fabric are normal.
